real talk:
For Artists Ready to Reclaim Their Creative Identity
Hi, I’m Lara Bianca Pilcher — a life and creativity coach with 25 years in the arts, working with performers, writers, visual artists, makers, storytellers, and creative souls of every kind who feel the pressure to stay visible in a world that won’t slow down.
I’ve spent my life performing, directing, teaching, and creating across Australia, the UK, and the US. I hold a Master’s in Musical Theatre Creative Practice, a Bachelor in Creative Arts (Dance), a Graduate Diploma in Education (Dance and Drama), and I’m an ICF PCC-certified coach.
But more than credentials, I understand the psychological weight artists carry — the pressure to be seen, the fear of disappearing, the constant measuring of your worth against output, opportunity, or attention. The strain of creating from insecurity instead of identity. The internal “prove yourself” loop that drains more than it gives.
That’s why my work is grounded, honest, and centred on creative identity — helping artists shift out of approval-driven creating and into a stable, internal place that doesn’t crumble under noise, comparison, or saturation.
No cameras. No introductions. No group chat.
Just a quiet space for you to hear the truth about your creative life without the pressure to perform.
Watch it privately, pause when you need to, take notes, come back to it later.
This isn’t about proving anything — it’s about understanding yourself as an artist in a way that finally makes sense.
She gave me space to process, tools to move forward, and the mindset shift I needed to keep showing up with confidence.
"I was getting constant rejections—and losing belief in myself. Growing with Lara helped me reconnect to my purpose"
Jason
Her guidance gave me the structure I was missing—and reminded me I already had what I needed to move ahead.
"I didn’t know what was next. I just knew I couldn’t stay stuck. Lara helped me untangle the noise and take steps forward.”
Grace
Lara helped me move through burnout and doubt with compassion and clarity. I’d lost touch with what made me feel alive—but our work brought me back to myself, and back to my craft.
"I went from just surviving each day to feeling excited to create again."
Arielle
Words from others
After a decade of struggle, I decided my life meant little to anyone. I was broken, depressed and confused. I found my core creative self again, the little girl who loved to paint, dance, sing and perform. I found my 'why' and in doing so, I found me again.
